On April 14th,  V Organic Cafe & Art Gallery is having an ‘Art & Brunch’ Spring break celebration with some fun art activities for kids, teens and adults, including:

An ‘active display’ of Medieval-Renaissance Art and printmaking from 11am-2pm. Artist Andy V. will be dressed in period costume, displaying drawing materials which would have been used during the 1470-1600 period. Andy will discuss Renaissance Art and allow visitors to try their own hand at silverpint, brush and feather quill drawing and more. Andy’s own artwork, using many of these materials will be on display in the gallery all day.

• Art in progress with Kara. Local Artist Kara O. will be set up and creating quick artworks for sale on the spot. Watch her work, interact with her medium a bit and bid on her art works.
• Pen and Ink Artist Therea Gorman will discuss her technique and the art of ‘getting small’ as seen in her illustrations in the gallery.

WE are now offering several workshops and classes at V Organic Cafe & Art Gallery, including Yoga on Monday evenings and a new series, Group Guided Meditation. Details for both classes can be viewed here.

Introducing our First Annual Ladies Tea Brunch, taking place on March 10, 2013 from 10-1pm, in celebration of Women’s History Month.  Ladies Tea & Brunch includes one dish from either our savory menu (panini, soup n scone or wrap), or sweet menu (stuffed french toast, sweet scone w/mock clotted cream and tofu scramble), two tea selections served during the event, one dessert from our dessert station, live musical entertainment and lot’s of fun! Hats and tea party attire (whatever that means to you) are mandatory for this special event. Be creative and ready to participate in Hat Contest for Most outrageous, Most Creative or Vintage Fab hat!  Seating is limited to 30 women.  We are now accepting pre payment in person at the cafe, $21.95 pp.  Sure to be a fun and delicious event!
